Single space detection in parking garages and indoor areas
The easiest way to find a parking space
To make it easier for road users to find a free parking space in the multi-storey parking garage, we offer an innovative single-space detection system. For this purpose, an ultrasonic sensor is mounted in the drive aisle or above the parking space to detect the occupancy status (free/occupied) of the parking space. LEDs integrated to the sensor indicate the occupancy status of each single parking space at an early stage (green - free and red - occupied).
The occupancy information is passed on to the zone controller and from there to a specified parking control computer. All park data can thus be conveniently retrieved on a server. The system can be adapted to any situation, regardless of whether a parking garage management system is already available or not. If required, further parking space displays can be connected to the parking guidance computer, for example outside the parking garage. The identification of free parking space enables optimal use of the parking garage and contributes significantly to minimizing search traffic inside the parking garage, thus saving unnecessary emissions and traffic. Users gain a memorable positive parking experience, as the efficient parking guidance technology allows them to find available parking or e-charging space quickly and without stress. It increases the use and overall occupancy of the car park, improves customer satisfaction and thus achieves more turnover for the owner, management company and operator.
