Parking data acquisition device
Secure data acquisition and indication in parking garages
The foundation for any parking guidance system is reliable data acquisition in parking garages and on parking spaces. The parking data acquisition device DZK UNI counts the number of vehicles entering and leaving the parking garage and thus determines free parking spaces in real-time. The recording of the incoming and outgoing vehicles can be carried out via:
• Barrier contacts of the entry and exit barriers (DZK UNI-P)
• Induction loops at the car park entrances and exits (DZK UNI-D)
• the USDS 300 ultrasonic drive-through sensor (DZK UNIP)
In these cases, the DZK UNI works as a differential counter. A built-in LCD display and control panel additionally allow you to conveniently configure and correct parking data. Alternatively, the DZK-UNI can acquire the parking garage data by taking over data from the parking management system via serial interfaces (DZK UNI-S). This option allows the integration of most parking garage management systems (e.g. from Skidata, Designa, Scheidt & Bachmann, ICA) into the parking guidance system. In addition, the recording device qualifies as a stand-alone system, forwarding the number of available parking spots to connected car park displays.
