IRF Award for SWARCO’s GoGreen Initiative

At this week’s International Road Federation (IRF) World Congress in Istanbul, the Closing Ceremony included the handing over of the IRF Awards. We are proud to announce that we were conferred the Technology and Innovation Award for the project SWARCO GoGreen Initiative - a proactive approach towards climate neutrality. SWARCO representatives Richard Neumann and Itir Coskun, who drove the GoGreen initiative throughout Europe, received the award from the hands of IRF President Dimitris Mandalozis.
Following the ITS Hall of Fame Industry Award conferred in Dubai in September, this is already the second recognition of our engagement with cities of the European Green Deal to become climate neutral by 2050. Our Virtual Reality Experience underpinning our solutions to reduce congestion and air pollution and promoting the safety of vulnerable road users is an innovative approach to address all stakeholders and convince them of the advantages of ITS in mitigating climate change.
