C2X Demonstration

Together with customers and relevant technology partners (VW, ANDATA, ASTech, ASFINAG) SWARCO was able to provide an insight into the future world of C2X (Car-to-X) communication to the assembled experts on April 24, 2019 at an event organized by the ATTC (Austrian Traffic Telematics Cluster).

At the ÖAMTC (Austrian Automobile Association) test site in Teesdorf (Lower Austria), a pre-series vehicle from Volkswagen, the networked trailer "MiTra" from SWARCO and a traffic management vehicle from ASFINAG (Austrian highway financing stock corporation) showed how the different road users communicate with each other and exchange information with infrastructure components. This communication is based on ITS-G5 technology.
