Structural/Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Challenge
  • Management of the structures activity of LACROIX City Madrid:
  • Be responsible for the proper development of the company's structures activity to ensure the realization of an annual business volume
  • Structure design: select and contractualize the relationship with the provider of mechanical calculations and manufacturing drawings. Oversee calculations and structural design activities
  • Carry out cost studies of the structures and supports requested by the commercial department
  • Manage the subcontracting of structures and supports: selection and qualification of suppliers, price negotiation, commissioning of work and control of deadlines and quality
  • Ensure that the execution costs comply with the cost studies in the offer phase
  • Supervise the CE marking of structures
  • Supervise a purchasing-oriented technical-administrative person who reports directly to you and who is responsible for kick.off of work orders, purchasing and supply, logistics, stock control, cost control and invoicing, CE marking processes and files
  • Supporting the LACROIX City Carros structures activity:
  • Support the industrial management of the LACROIX City Carros entity in the selection and qualification of suppliers
  • Ensure monitoring and quality control of orders subcontracted to suppliers
  • Accompany and participate in the interventions of external auditors and/or clients, particularly those associated with the NF marking
Your Profile
  • Bachelor or Master degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
  • Profile of manager of (small) industrial operations center or production manager in an industrial workshop in the mechanical or machining sector, with a minimum experience of 3-5 years
  • Experience and know-how in negotiating purchases and subcontracting with suppliers, as well as in the management of delicate or conflictive situations associated with deviations in costs, deadlines, quality and/or litigation
  • Knowledge in ISO or other quality assurance systems would be a plus
  • Experience in the field of metallic structures would be a plus
  • Fluent in Spanish and strong communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken French and / or German would be a plus
  • Computer tools and software including ERP
  • Rigor, seriousness and reliability
  • Ability to organize, plan, carry out and work as a team
  • Interpersonal skills and negotiation sense
