Your Challenge

• Strategic purchasing of project materials and services in the area of traffic management for the SWARCO Group
• Optimization of existing purchasing processes, especially with regard to digitalization and efficiency increase
• Creation of tenders
• Searching for and selecting new suppliers and partners and ensuring optimal utilization of existing potential from existing suppliers
• Cross-functional collaboration with the subsidiaries worldwide to coordinate strategic procurement activities, including defining the medium and long-term strategy
• Conducting price and contract negotiations and participating in award decisions/contract processing
• Management and participation in international purchasing projects

Your Profile

• Completed commercial studies, technical understanding an advantage
• Several years of professional experience as a strategic buyer
• Involvement in extensive procurement projects, ideally in an international environment or as a project manager
• Experience with ERP systems, SAP knowledge desirable
• Analytical way of thinking as well as an independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good MS Office skills and strong quantitative and data analysis skills
• High internal customer and service orientation, negotiation skills with a high degree of independence and assertiveness
• Confident written and spoken English skills for the implementation of international projects
• Willingness to travel
