Asset Management
Within our management & maintenance team, continuous analysis, adjustment and optimization are key. We continuously optimize our processes and activities, for example based on Deming's PDCA cycle, in order to achieve optimal availability of our customers' assets. Moreover, in the Netherlands we are making increasing demands on the sustainable use of installations, and financing and management and maintenance are becoming more complex.
Our long-term maintenance cycle ensures that objects last as long as possible and continue to comply with laws and regulations and our client's requirements.
An object-specific maintenance regime
We work with an object-specific maintenance regime, taking into account the status and lifespan. When starting a project or taking over a contract, we first make an extensive analysis of what has been done in the past. We then draw up the most optimal maintenance regime. We use the findings of preventive maintenance and fault handling to optimize the maintenance regime.
Management & maintenance fault handling
Agreements for the fault-clearing service are laid down per contract. For many of our customers, we are responsible for failure coordination and handling. We are usually the first to receive a malfunction. We then try to diagnose the problem remotely. What causes a bridge to stop opening or closing? Is it a power, software or mechanical problem? Good knowledge of the objects and their status is crucial here.
Faults can be reported directly in our maintenance management system. After a malfunction has been dealt with, an analysis is always made of where it came from and how it can be prevented in the future.
Maintenance management system
Customers can report malfunctions directly into our maintenance management system. From this system, our technicians are assigned their work and the technician records his findings and a work report. We analyze all registered data and make trend analyses per object. We use this data, if desired, to create a dashboard of the area. This includes information about the latest malfunctions, the number of malfunctions per object, element or building component, causes of malfunctions, start times and resolution times, classification of malfunctions and availability of installations, roads and waterways. We use this information to optimize the object-specific maintenance regime and our working methods and processes. The goal is to organize our work more efficiently and to optimize the availability of our assets.

Some of our management & maintenance projects
- Lelystad Airport: After we installed a new type of runway lighting (CEDD) based on direct current, we are responsible for the maintenance for 15 years.
- Schiphol Airport: We maintain the lighting system for Schiphol.
- Vliegveld Eelde: After we have installed the electrical installations for a runway extension, we are responsible for the maintenance of the electrical installations for 10 years.
- Lemmer Delfzijl: We are responsible for the management and maintenance of the bridges and locks of the waterway.
- Lower Rhine and Lek Weir ensemble: Before, during and after the renovation work on 'the crane of the Netherlands', we were responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of all professional disciplines and the overarching maintenance management.
- Maasobjects: The contractor combination Mourik-Dynniq is responsible for carrying out the daily electrical, mechanical and industrial automated maintenance for almost all objects in and along the Maas.
